Tax Information

NO online payments are allowed for 2023 taxes at this time and will be rejected if processed with AllPaid.  All unpaid 2023 taxes will be payable to Cass County Treasurer and they will mail out a delinquent notice showing what amount(s) is owed.

Winter tax payments are due and payable December 1, 2024 through February 28, 2025. Please mail check and tax bill stub to 30683 Peavine St, Dowagiac, MI 49047. Please make checks payable to: Pokagon Township.

Please make sure your check is the correct amount, and is written for the same dollar amount that shows on your tax bill. Please remember to sign your check before mailing as well, as all of these items will cause a delay of your payment to post due to mailing back to you for correction of your check error(s). Also please place a current phone number on your check in case there is an issue so we can contact you to resolve said issue. Please note: Partial payments are accepted as well. The Treasurer, Kevin Young, will be available in the township office on Tuesday’s from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm (during tax season usually longer).  Please call before making a special trip if it isn’t one of the days listed below.
