Attention Township Property Owners:
Summer Tax Bills were mailed out on July 1st at the Dowagiac Post Office. It was brought to our attention that some property owners have not received their tax bills. We are sorry if you did not receive your bill, but it is the property owner’s responsibility to be sure their taxes are paid on time regardless of receiving said tax bill per State Statue. If you did not receive your tax bill you may contact the Treasurer via email at treasurer@pokagontownshipmi.gov and he will be happy to get you the tax bill(s) that you didn’t receive. Taxes are still due on Sept 16th by 5pm and after that date 1% per month interest will accrue starting Sept 17th.
